MA in Christian Theology in Cambridge

Posted / Updated by Polly Keen on 31st May 2012

From September there will be a new MA available through the Cambridge Theological Federation with a Mission pathway as part it. The MA in Christian Theology is being accredited by Anglia Ruskin University.

The mission pathway is aimed at people who wish to reflect on a variety of mission practices in Britain and across the globe, informed by the disciplines of apologetics and biblical studies.

The core module will study the intersection of mission with apologetics and Biblical studies. The special mission module will provide an overview of contemporary mission studies, including inculturation, prophetic dialogue, fresh expressions, and so on. There will also be special modules on Christian Doctrine and Contemporary Culture and Scripture and Theology. Students will be able to choose from a range of modules and a topic of choice for a dissertation.

The course is designed to be flexible and can be taken full-time or part-time. There is some opportunity for distance learning modules. You can also choose to take part of the MA: two modules gain a Postgraduate Certificate and four modules a Postgraduate Diploma.

And what does it cost? For British/EU students the MA is £5,500 and for international students it is £9, 800.
